Romanian Economy and Finance Minister Varujan Vosganian declared at a recent construction and real estate seminar in Bucharest that Romania will receive a total investment from both public and private investments of 250 Billion Euro over the next 4 years.
The breakdown will be approximately 40 billion euro in foreign direct investment, 70 billion euro from the public sector, 20 billion from the EU and 120 billion euro from companies with Romanian or foreign capital.
On top of this, the Romanian economy is continuing to grow due to the country´s vast natural resources, with exports this year expected to rise by 18% and imports by 12%.
