Statistics from the World Trade Organisation show a 10% rise in the numbers of visitors to Portugal during 2007, with independent sources stating that the levels will increase further in 2008.
Due primarily to the Portuguese governments implementation of a strategic plan to develop national and international tourism by improving the country´s infrastructure and service levels.
The plan is good news for the economy and will encourage more property investors to Portugal, especially to popular areas such as Lisbon and the Silver Coast.
