In line with recent high profile investments into the Cypriot infrastructure, the Cyprus Government, through Cypriot Tourism Minister, Antonis Michaelides said that the contract to build a new marina in Ayia Napa is due to be awarded soon and that the Ministry is in ´advanced negotiations´ for the 600 berth development.
Recently, a new Marina at Limassol was awarded to an international consortium, estimated at a cost of 170 million euro and creating 1,000 berths. Also announced recently was the 70 million euro contract awarded to another international consortium for yet another new marina, this time in Paphos, again catering for 1,000 berths.
